Warm Oil Massage
Two therapists work in rhythm with long, warm strokes of herbal sesame oil, head to feet, followed by a steam and bath.
Kerala Ayurveda · Panampilly Nagar, Kochi
Classical Kerala therapies in a quiet old Kerala family house — every programme starts with a conversation with a qualified BAMS practitioner, not a menu.
Our clinic
Still Water began in 2014 in the front rooms of a 1960s Kochi house with a laterite courtyard and a jackfruit tree. We kept the red-oxide floors and the wooden therapy tables, added good ventilation and hot water, and made it a place where nobody is rushed.
Oils are prepared to classical recipes by a licensed Ayurvedic pharmacy in Thrissur and warmed fresh for every session. Therapists work in pairs for full-body treatments, men with men and women with women.
A 30-minute conversation with a BAMS-qualified practitioner about your routine, comfort and preferences before any therapy is suggested.
Every oil is checked on the wrist and adjusted to the temperature you like. Tell us any time something is too warm or too firm.
Herbal tea and twenty quiet minutes in the courtyard after every session. A warm bath is included after oil therapies.
Our therapies are for relaxation and wellbeing. They are not a replacement for your doctor, and we will always tell you if something isn’t right for you.
Therapies & prices
Prices are per session and include GST, the oil, a herbal bath and tea. Multi-day programmes are planned with you at your consultation.
Full body
Two therapists work in rhythm with long, warm strokes of herbal sesame oil, head to feet, followed by a steam and bath.
Head & mind
A steady thread of lukewarm oil swings gently across the forehead from a hanging brass vessel. Many guests simply drift off.
Full body
Muslin bundles of fresh leaves, coconut and lime are warmed in oil and pressed in a slow rhythm along the body.
Four hands
Cloths dipped in warm oil are squeezed in a continuous stream over the body while two therapists massage in time.
Full body
Brisk upward strokes with a warm, dry herbal powder — invigorating rather than sleepy. Finished with a bath.
Feet & lower legs
Warm oil foot massage using a small bronze bowl. A good first visit, or an add-on after any therapy.

A conversation with a BAMS-qualified practitioner about your daily routine and what you’d like from your visit. Adjusted against any therapy booked the same week.
Please tell us about pregnancy, recent surgery, skin conditions, or any medicines you take before booking — some therapies may not be suitable, and we’ll suggest gentler options.
Just for fun
Ayurveda describes three doshas, or tendencies, that everyone has in different measures. Six quick questions give you a playful snapshot to bring to your consultation.
For interest only, not a diagnosis. This quiz cannot assess your health. Please consult a qualified practitioner — and your doctor — for any health concern.
