01 · The wedding week

Five events, each with its own mood.

Open any day to see the palette and décor we often start from. Every family does it differently — skip, merge or add events, and we will plan the week around what matters to you.

  1. Courtyard set for a henna night: colourful hanging parasols, low floor cushions and bolsters, a tray of henna cones
    • Leaf green
    • Mustard
    • Rose pink
    • Cream
    • Low floor cushions and bolsters, so elders and artists sit comfortably
    • Shade from hanging umbrellas or a canopy for daytime
    • Two to four henna artists per 50 guests, booked early

Usually 3–5 hours · home, lawn or courtyard

  2. Turmeric morning setup: a wall of marigold strings, a carved wooden stool and a brass bowl of turmeric paste
    • Turmeric yellow
    • Marigold
    • White
    • Mint
    • Washable, turmeric-proof seating and a floor that can be hosed down
    • Marigold backdrop with fresh flowers sourced the same morning
    • Change rooms and towels close by — small things guests remember

Usually 2–3 hours · courtyard or poolside

  3. Music night stage on a palace lawn under strings of lights, with spotlights and a barrel drum
    • Fuchsia
    • Night plum
    • Gold
    • Ivory
    • A run-sheet for every performance, with rehearsal slots for both families
    • Sound and lights checked with the venue’s noise rules and cut-off time
    • Seating for elders close to the stage, away from the speakers

Usually 4–5 hours · ballroom, lawn or courtyard

  4. Ceremony canopy on four carved posts with ivory drapes, marigold and jasmine strings and two seats beneath
    • Vermilion red
    • Ivory
    • Antique gold
    • Marigold
    • Décor fitted to the ceremony and its place — a floral canopy, a stage for a Muslim ceremony, a palette that suits a Sikh temple, a church aisle
    • Ritual items, timings and seating checked with your families and officiant, never assumed
    • A quiet holding room for the couple and close family

Length varies by tradition · we plan buffers on both sides

  5. Reception hall with a crystal chandelier above round dinner tables and tall flower centrepieces
    • Emerald
    • Champagne
    • Gold
    • Pearl
    • A greeting line plan so the couple meets every guest without a queue
    • Menus that respect every guest — Jain, vegetarian, halal, no-onion-garlic — labelled clearly
    • Transport and late check-outs for families travelling the next morning

Usually 4–5 hours · palace hotel, lawn or banquet hall

02 · Venue types

Jaipur gives you five kinds of beautiful.

We shortlist three venues that fit your guest list, dates and budget, visit them with you, and read the fine print — noise cut-offs, outside-vendor rules, room blocks.
