The catalogue

Three families, one calibre. Every watch is regulated in six positions before it leaves the bench. The leather strap and the NATO cost the same; the steel bracelet adds ₹4,500.

Taken apartSeven layers, 128 parts. Scroll and the movement lifts apart so you can see each one.
The heartThe balance wheel swings back and forth four times a second. The gear train turns those swings into seconds.

Give it a wind.

An automatic winds itself as you move. Left on a table, it keeps running for 42 hours. Turn the crown to fill the mainspring.

Full in about 40 turns. A slipping bridle stops you over-winding.
Hacking seconds: pull the crown and the second hand stops, so you can set it to the second.

The Jayanagar bench.

Mainspring Watch Co began in 2019 when two engineers left an aerospace plant in Peenya to learn watchmaking. Today six watchmakers assemble, regulate and test every watch on one long bench in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The movement and sapphire are imported; the case, dial and strap are made in India, and we tell you which part comes from where.
